I just completed the halfway mark to my student teaching practicum. I am in a school in central MA K-3. So far it has been an incredible journey. I am finally learning not only the students names, but their little personalities as well. It is amazing that you can see their character in their artwork. I have now completed three of my own lesson plans, and am starting more! Hopefully these will be only a few of many in my career. Here are a few photos of some of the work from the little artists....
This was a two class Kindergarten project on primary colors and pattern first, then we talked about composition and how your eye travels all around the paper.
This was another two class Kindergarten project on torn paper collage, and then secondary colors -with a review of composition.I have a display for my college going up this week with my other first grade project on Australian Bark Painting...photos to come.
